b r u t e = alice + sophie
brute is a graphic design and art direction studio. Its founders are Sophie Jouanneault, graduate from graphic design school ESAG Penninghen (1999) in Paris, and Alice Gazio, a graduate in Visual Communication from ENSAAMA, Paris (2005) and UCA Farnham, UK (2007). The duo met in 2005 while working on French cultural magazine, Technikart. Since then they have regularly worked on a range of projects together and decided in to launch brute in 2016.
